350NH Action Endorses Karishma Manzur for U.S. Senate to Take on Big Oil and War Profiteers
Manzur is a candidate who will fight for the people and the planet.
Exeter, NH — May 21, 2026 — 350NH Action announced its endorsement of Karishma Manzur for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. 350NH Action is a local climate justice organization whose mission is to build grassroots support for a just transition to renewable energy and an end to society’s dependence on fossil fuels.
“We are excited to endorse Karishma Manzur for U.S. Senate, representing New Hampshire,” 350NH Action posted on social media. “As a scientist and grassroots activist, her campaign is centered on a people-first platform to ban big money in politics, lower the cost of living by taking on corporate greed, invest in workers’ rights, support quality public education, uphold human rights, defend health and environmental science, and protect our environment from polluters.”
“Billionaire interests control most of our policies right now, and we need a candidate who will fight for the people,” said Rebecca Beaulieu, Executive Director of 350NH Action. “We have to get the interests of big oil, weapons manufacturers, and mega corporations out of our elections. That means electing candidates who reject corporate donations and who will fight for a political system that actually supports the needs of our communities.”
Manzur responded to the endorsement, “I am proud to be endorsed by 350NH, not just for my campaign, but for all of the New Hampshire voters whose demands for peace and environmental protections are being ignored while Washington legislators endlessly feed the war machine.”
Manzur is running on a pro-planet and pro-peace platform that places environmental protection as the forefront. “The military-industrial complex is one of the largest polluters in the world,” said Manzur. “It burns through fossil fuels at an astronomical rate and deploys weapons that are destructive to life and the environment. Wars cause immense damage to water, soil, and air quality that can last for years. We must stop spending billions of taxpayer dollars destroying lives and the planet, and instead invest at home: provide well-funded public schools for our children, affordable healthcare for working families, and support our seniors to retire with dignity.”
Manzur is advocating for a sensible foreign policy rooted in peace, democracy, and national security rather than war profiteering, alongside strong environmental protections because there is no Planet B. Her priorities include ending blank checks for war, cracking down on congressional war profiteering, protecting clean air and water, and investing in the transition to renewable energy.
350NH Action’s endorsement joins a growing coalition backing Manzur’s campaign to prioritize a healthy New Hampshire and a more peaceful future over endless investment in war.
