From Scientist to Public Servant.

Karishma is a medical scientist with a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology. She spent over 20 years working on treatments for illnesses like Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, and depression.

Her commitment to public service didn’t stop in the research field. She is serving on the boards of NH Ranked Choice Voting and NH Open Democracy, and previously served on the board of NH Peace Action. Through these organizations, Karishma works to reduce the influence of corporate greed and political corruption in our government.

Disheartened by the housing crisis, rising cost of living, and broken healthcare system, Karishma is running as a Democrat for the U.S. Senate to ensure every person has a fair shot at a brighter future.
