Keene for Palestine Proudly Endorses Pro-Peace Candidate Karishma Manzur for U.S. Senate

EXETER, N.H. —  Keene for Palestine, a local organization dedicated to fostering solidarity with Palestinians, has endorsed Karishma Manzur in her campaign for the U.S. Senate. 

Keene for Palestine has been instrumental in providing dedicated community spaces for meaningful and educational conversations, film screenings, and cultural exchange centered on Palestine. Through hosting Palestinian writers, scholars, or poets, the organization allowed community members to engage directly with first-hand accounts of decades-long occupation, systemic apartheid, and the current genocide in Gaza.

Karishma has unequivocally and repeatedly denounced Israel’s genocide in Palestine, and she has been unwavering in her rejection of AIPAC money. She has the moral clarity, compassion, and equitable policies that voters have been yearning to see in a candidate. We are proud to support her,” said Jess Bullock, one of the Keene for Palestine members. 

Welcoming the endorsement, Manzur stated: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of Keene for Palestine. For too long, U.S. taxpayers have involuntarily funded war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. It is vital to enforce existing U.S. laws, including the Leahy Law and Section 502B of the Foreign Assistance Act, which prohibit security assistance to foreign entities responsible for gross human rights violations. Our foreign policy should be based on national security and national interests, not war profiteering or faulty intelligence from Netanyahu.“
