Dr. Karishma Manzur Joining Inaugural Congressional Courage and Accountability Summit in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former US Senate candidate Dr. Karishma Manzur will join former and current congressional candidates at the inaugural Courage and Accountability Summit to be held on September 29 and 30th, 2026.

Dr. Manzur was endorsed by American People’s Compact, Courage for Democracy, and Take BAC Congress, groups that are hosting the summit.

On Sept. 29th at 4pm at the National Press Club in Washington, DC the groups will host a policy discussion focused on Congressional responsibility and government reform with leaders and candidates from across the country, including former Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Matt Beat, (Uncapping the House), Jordan Wood (former congressional candidate ME-02), Robert White, (FreeDC and DC congressional candidate), Constitutional scholar Sam Halpert, and others from around the nation.

On Sept. 30th at 9AM, attending candidates and leaders will assemble on the West steps of the US Capitol for a rally and press briefing. 

According to Dr. Manzur, “Americans have lost faith in a government where too many lawmakers are failing to hold power accountable. Restoring that trust requires courage, transparency, and actions. I am proud to join a coalition of leaders from across the country willing to put people before politics.”
