CONCORD, N.H. —
Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Karishma Manzur kicked off her 10-day, 10-county tour across New Hampshire on Friday in a new van branded with her likeness.
Manzur is campaigning as the progressive alternative to U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas in the U.S. Senate Democratic primary.
Manzur has labeled politicians who raise large amounts of money as corrupt and beholden to their major donors.
Manzur's first planned stop Friday was at a hot air balloon rally in Pittsfield. She will then crisscross the state and end the tour on Aug. 9 in Claremont in Sullivan County.
