U.S. Senate Candidate Karishma Manzur’s Statement on Recent NRSC’s Plans to Ensure Candidates Who Speak Out Against Genocide “Never Set Foot in the U.S. Senate”
EXETER, NH – (October 13, 2025) In a piece released by The Washington Reporter, a National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesperson was quoted, saying: “The new litmus test for progressive credentials is whether Democrats will accuse Israel of genocide… the NRSC is committed to doing everything in our power to make sure these candidates never set foot in the U.S. Senate.”
The article further states: “Over in the Granite State, a self-proclaimed peace activist named Karishma Manzur is accusing Rep. Chris Pappas (D., N.H.) of supporting a non-existent 'genocide’ in Gaza…”
U.S. Senate Candidate Karishma Manzur’s statement:
“For over 25 years, Benjamin Netanyahu has exercised unlawful and disproportionate influence over U.S. foreign policy in conflicts across the Middle East, including in Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria. These conflicts cost us in lives, including American service members, trillions of dollars, and global credibility.
This pattern of war is enabled by a political establishment, including Democrats and Republicans, that accepts millions of dollars from pro-Israel lobbies like AIPAC.
These lobbies don’t serve American interests. They influence elections and buy obedience, even when it means fueling human rights abuses abroad. And over the last two years, AIPAC-funded establishment politicians spent billions of our taxpayer dollars to fund a genocide in Gaza.
While I remain cautiously optimistic about a permanent ceasefire, the recent developments in the Middle East do not change the political corruption in our country.
Granite Staters won’t allow the NRSC and lobbyists to undermine our democracy as they promote candidates who serve the interests of a foreign government and not the American people.
I stand with the majority of Americans calling for an end to the bloodshed against children in Gaza. As Senator, I will redirect those billions of dollars to feed, house, and educate our own children.
My loyalty is and will always be to our Constitution, democracy, and the American people.”
