PEACE ACTION ENDORSES KARISHMA MANZUR FOR U.S. SENATE, CITING LEADERSHIP ON PEACE, DIPLOMACY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Nation’s Largest Peace Organization Praises Karishma Manzur’s Forward-Thinking Approach to Foreign Policy
EXETER, NH – (September 19, 2025) Peace Action announced its endorsement of Karishma Manzur for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. Peace Action is the largest grassroots peace network in the United States. It is known nationally for its work to promote diplomacy, nuclear disarmament, and to bring an end to endless wars.

The board of Peace Action unanimously endorsed Manzur, stating that her vision for a just and sensible foreign policy makes her the clear choice in the race.
In response, Manzur said, “This endorsement means a great deal, not just to me, but to every New Hampshire voter who is sick and tired of endless wars and blank checks for weapons contractors.” Manzur continued, “We need leaders in Washington who will put people over profits and diplomacy over destruction.”
Karishma Manzur is running to bring an end to the status quo in American foreign policy. “This ‘bomb first, ask questions later’ mindset has failed us for decades, both at home and abroad.” Manzur added, “Every dollar spent on war is a dollar not spent on housing, education, and healthcare. Peace and diplomacy must come first; that’s the only way forward.”
When elected, Karishma Manzur will make history as the first woman with a Ph.D. in science to serve in the U.S. Senate. She pledges to bring evidence-based leadership to every issue, including the consequences of failed military interventions.
Her foreign policy platform includes:
Prioritizing service members and the nation by ending “blank checks” for war
Restoring Congressional oversight of military action
Banning members of Congress from “insider trading” as they buy and sell stock in defense contractors
Guaranteeing quality healthcare, housing, and job training for veterans and their families
