Nina Turner to join U.S. Senate Candidate Karishma Manzur for press conference and People’s Rally in Concord, NH

CONCORD, NH — U.S. Senate candidate Karishma Manzur will be joined by former Ohio state senator and national labor organizer Nina Turner at the People’s Rally on Monday, September 7, at the New Hampshire State House in Concord.

Held one day before New Hampshire’s September 8 primary, the rally will bring together progressive leaders, community organizers, and Granite Staters for a final push behind Manzur’s campaign and its commitment to challenging corporate power and fighting for working people.

Turner is the founder of the national workers’ rights organization We Are Somebody and a senior fellow at The New School’s Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy. She served as a national surrogate for Senator Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign and as national co-chair of his 2020 campaign.

Cory Archibald of Track AIPAC will also speak at the rally about the influence of lobbying groups and big money in American politics.

In the final hours before New Hampshire voters head to the polls, Turner and Archibald will join Manzur to rally support for her grassroots campaign, powered by people rather than corporate PACs, special interests, or foreign-aligned lobbies. Their appearance highlights growing support for Manzur’s commonsense agenda of affordability, Medicare for All, workers’ rights, campaign finance reform, environmental protection, and a humane foreign policy with an end to endless wars and profiteering.
