Marine Corps Veteran Brian McGinnis to Join U.S. Senate Candidate Karishma Manzur for Town Hall on Veterans’ Housing, VA Care, and Ending War Profiteering
EXETER, N.H. — Dr. Manzur will be joined by keynote speaker and Marine Corps veteran Brian McGinnis, as well as members of Veterans For Peace, for a town hall in Merrimack, NH. The discussion will focus on funding for veteran housing and employment, veteran care and disability programs, and advancing a foreign policy centered on national interests and security, including an end to war profiteering.
Brian McGinnis is a Marine Corps veteran and a congressional candidate for NC-02. He has spoken out against policies that unnecessarily put Americans in harm’s way. In March 2026, McGinnis protested during a Senate hearing on U.S. military actions in the Middle East and was forcibly removed, suffering a broken arm in the process. Despite the injury, McGinnis said the incident strengthened his resolve to continue speaking out against policies that send Americans into unnecessary wars. As a Marine veteran, he understands the human cost of war and believes America should pursue diplomacy and peace whenever possible.
Speaking on his decision to stand by Manzur, McGinnis said: “Veterans deserve respect. Instead, we are exploited to enrich spineless, soulless corporate executives. It’s time the American public became proactive and kept our troops out of these criminal, unprovoked wars of aggression by voting for Dr. Karishma Manzur.”
