U.S. Senate Candidate Karishma Manzur’s Statement: Congress must immediately halt blank-check funding to the DHS until ICE is abolished

EXETER, NH (February 11, 2026) – As the February 13 funding deadline approaches, Congress members must do their job of protecting Americans and stopping the out-of-control Executive Branch.

ICE is a rogue paramilitary force violating Constitutional rights and murdering people.

Let me be clear: ICE is not about immigration, deportation, or preventing crime. 

Donald Trump is using ICE to terrorize our communities and provoke protests and riots. He has already threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy the U.S. military against Americans. The people of Minnesota are suffering as the state is used for a test run on seizing power.

Schumer and Jeffries’ calls for body cams, longer training, and IDs are foolish and won’t protect people from Trump’s violence.

Congress must immediately halt blank-check funding to the Department of Homeland Security until ICE is abolished. Any ICE agent who broke the law must be investigated and prosecuted. Congress must also hold officials accountable by initiating impeachment proceedings against Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi.

The greatest danger is allowing Trump to continue weaponizing the federal government and the U.S. military. 

Congress has the power to stop this. It’s time to use it.
